Thoughts
The most inspirational, emotional, fantastic , hilarious, loving and caring English Channel Swim I have ever Observed. It will not be surpassed. What a privilege to have met you and Rich. I talk about that swim all the time when people ask me what makes me want to observe. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person . Thank you Jody and Rich for making my life so much more richer. ❤️❤️🙏🙏

Jody, I first met you in 2013 during a Thames river swim. We swam at around the same pace while your husband Rich walked along the path. It was a lovely day with such an inclusive welcoming group of swimmers. I’ve since enjoyed seeing your swimming go from strength to strength over the past decade. You were so friendly, open and genuine both in person and online. RIP Jody Jones. Sending love and condolences to your family. Xx

Since I learned about Jody's passing, she has been on my mind. I didn't really get to see her often, only a few times when I was little. My parents would always tell me about all the amazing things she would do, and I'd think wow! She is amazing! he had so much passion in life, and didn't let anything stop her from accomplishing astonishing feats! She was such an inspiring role model and courageous leader. She is still such an inspiration to so many, and she will always be with us. Jody was not only a beautiful and smart woman, but she was kind and willing. She devoted her life to passion, family, and singing. Jody was such an amazing woman, and she left us too soon, but she will always be remembered, through singing, and throughout all our hearts.

As a new choir member arriving from Canada, I had a lot to adjust to. Jody, you always responded to me with warmth, encouragement and support. You were a role model to me in a lot of ways including singing and especially with fighting through whatever life brings your way. I saw you smile through unimaginable pain and it was humbling to see. Thank you for touching my life in such a unforgettable way ….through song and mentorship
