I only knew Jody for a short while singing in the choir as a mum of a veteran but having worked for many years nursing people with bowel cancer I was in awe of her energy, enthusiasm, positive attitude, leadership, sense of fun and of course her gorgeous voice. What a lady! From what I saw, she never let her illness define her, but rather used it in a positive way to help her achieve all that she wanted in her all too short life.

Jody's greatest legacy will undoubtedly be her daughters, but with their mother's passion for life and determination they are destined to succeed in anything and everything they set their sights on. For you Rich, this is what will give you most comfort in your lowest moments.

Jody will be so missed by all of those who loved her and particularly by those she loved the most, but wherever you are lovely lady sing loud and proud as I promise you, we can still hear you!
